What you’ll do

Coiba National Park is located along the coasts of Santa Catalina, about one hour and forty-five minutes from Santiago. Upon arriving in Santa Catalina, we will take a one-and-a-half-hour speedboat ride to Coiba National Park, which, due to its size and the richness of its islands and surrounding marine waters, is one of the most important natural jewels of Panama. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, it is recognized for its grandeur and significance in protecting marine, insular, and coastal ecosystems.

From July to September, hundreds of humpback whales arrive at Coiba National Park and the surrounding areas of Cébaco and Gobernadora Islands. These majestic creatures come to give birth to their calves and stay in our safe waters to feed.

In this wonderful experience, you will have the opportunity to observe these impressive and magical whales—if we are lucky!

Highlights of the Experience:

  • Incredible Wildlife Viewing: Enjoy the opportunity to observe these majestic whales in their natural habitat, providing a unique and unforgettable experience.
