What you’ll do

English Panama al Natural – Incentives

Experience the heart and soul of Azuero and discover a place where ancestral heritage intertwines with vibrant traditions and the warmth of its people. Immerse yourself in authentic experiences like don our colorful pollera dress, dancing to local rhythms, and living the charming lifestyle of this community.

Explore the vibrant community of Guararé, where expert artisans will enchant you with their stunning creations in the art of sewing. Here, you’ll discover the pollera, recognized as the national dress of Panama, a precious textile jewel crafted using specialized techniques passed down through generations. And if you’re up for it, you can dress in a pollera and join us for a fun photo shoot in the town square! A lovely souvenir to cherish, right? (*Note: This activity is not included in the price.)

We’ll savor a delicious lunch featuring regional dishes, including sancocho made over a wood fire with free-range chicken and flavorful yams. Of course, we can’t forget the torrejitas de maíz nuevo (fried corn fritters), white cheese, and refreshing natural soft drinks.

While you enjoy your meal, expert artisans will be crafting beautiful sandals known as cutarras. These handmade sandals are customized to fit your feet perfectly. The cutarra is a type of sandal crafted from high-quality leather, ensuring both comfort and authenticity. You’ll have the unique opportunity to take home your very own cutarras, made entirely by hand and tailored to your size—a beautiful souvenir from the Azuero region!
