What you’ll do

The adventure begins as we head toward La Chorrera, a place 50 km west of Panama City, famous for its lush landscapes and, above all, its delicious pineapples.

You’ll begin your tour of the plantations.

A passionate farmer, who has dedicated his life to growing pineapples, will explain the process from planting to harvest. You’ll be surprised to learn that this farm was one of the first to adopt global food safety standards, ensuring that every pineapple produced will not only be delicious but also safe to eat.

After learning about the crop, you’ll head to the packing plant. There, you’ll observe how the pineapples are carefully selected and packaged, ready to be shipped to international markets.

The efficiency and care with which the employees work will reflect the farm’s commitment to quality.

One of the most fascinating moments will be when they teach you how to measure the sweetness of the fruit, known as brix. With a refractometer in hand, you’ll see how the sun illuminates the pineapple juice, revealing its natural sweetness. It will be as if each pineapple has a story to tell, a story of sun, water, and dedication.

Finally, the moment everyone will be waiting for will arrive: the tasting. Each bite will be an explosion of flavor, from the intense sweetness of ripe pineapple to the freshness of the more acidic varieties. Each type will have its own personality, and it will be difficult to decide which will be your favorite.
