What you’ll do
Ngobe Bugle Community located on the road to Almirante, Bocas del Toro. It is an indigenous community of about 500 inhabitants, bordering part of the Ngöbe Buglé region. Upon arrival we will have the opportunity to share with its inhabitants, learn about their customs and history. For sure we will live an unforgettable experience in a natural and ecological environment, valuing the natural attractions and culture, as well as traditional knowledge.
Cocoa is one of the most important products for the economy of the community. On our first day we will have the opportunity to learn about the complete process for the elaboration of chocolate, from the planting of a seed to making your own chocolate bar in the traditional style. While we have lunch with local products and recipes, we will enjoy a beautiful presentation of the traditional Ngöbe dance, where the men and women of the community will show the different types of dances they practice, dressed in their traditional costumes.
